1. Give Os Update
sudo apt-get update
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
2. Install mysql Server
sudo apt-get install mysql-server-5.6 mysql-client-5.6
3. Check mysql Status(use terminal)
mysql -u root -p
sudo /etc/init.d/mysql status
sudo /etc/init.d/mysql start
sudo /etc/init.d/mysql stop
sudo /etc/init.d/mysql restart
4. Set Mysql PRIVILEGES
mysql -u root -p
CREATE USER 'sa'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY '1234';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'sa'@'%' WITH GRANT OPTION;
GRANT ALL ON *.* to sa@'%' IDENTIFIED BY '1234';
GRANT ALL ON *.* to root@'%' IDENTIFIED BY '1234';
5. Edit config file
sudo gedit /etc/mysql/my.cnf
